My daughters had moved from out of state to Mequon. They realized quickly that they were missing key elements of information and understanding in some of their AP classes. I contacted Acacia and the mentors made a HUGE difference, helping my daughters to get an A+ and B+. I'm very grateful of the services Acacia Academics is providing to the community!

The Student Union offers opportunities for their students to serve, but the leaders here are actually the first to serve. Their embodiment of service leadership made a big impact on me... just how those people spent time pouring into me, I now want to do that with my future and pour into other people.

Acacia Academics is a program I'd highly recommend to any family with a child who could benefit from receiving extra academic support in a given subject. I signed up my second grader for reading support during the 2023-24 school year because I wanted him to be able to read to someone other than me and my husband, to become a stronger reader through continued practice, and to really start to enjoy reading. He was paired with a local high school student, and has loved going to see him every week. Never a complaint! It not only sets aside an hour for him to read with someone, but it also allows him to engage with a mentor and gain confidence when talking with young adults. Just six months later, he is now reading voluntarily every night and loves reading chapter books! We will definitely look to Acacia Academics for academic support in the coming years where needed. It's a wonderful program. And we're fortunate to have it in our community.
